Information is essential.

In order to develop, a company needs to adapt to the times by integrating technological, structural and professional evolution, whilst respecting the requirements of industrial production and financial profitability.  It now requires systems to help it underline its reactivity, notable using information which may be spread out but remains essential to maintain its leadership and ensure its survival. 

Computing and telecommunications resources are therefore vital.  A systemic approach and a good understanding of human needs, based on innovative concepts, should also be applied.  

The application and use of these procedures are offered in order to build up a continuity plan for information systems.  It is essential for managers to be pro-active and not to remain passive, especially as risks are everywhere but are very often ignored.  All companies, big or small, are concerned by this, regardless of their sector of activity. 

At this point in time, companies are extremely vulnerable.  Today, the majority of them would only have a 7% chance of survival in the event of a disaster, if there were no recovery plan!
